Invoice Maker Privacy Policy
Template notice: This sample policy must be customized to match Invoice Maker's real data practices, SDKs, permissions, advertising model, target audience, and applicable laws. It is not legal advice.
Effective Date
Effective date: January 1, 2026.
Company or Developer Identity
Invoice Maker is provided by Velose Africa. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Velose Africa.
Information Collected
The app may collect account details, subscription status, business profile settings, support messages, app usage events, and limited device or diagnostic data. Replace this list with the app's actual production data categories.
Information Entered by Users
Users may enter business names, customer names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, tax identifiers, invoice line items, prices, payment terms, notes, logos, signatures, and invoice files. Users are responsible for having the right to enter and process information about their customers.
Device and Diagnostic Information
The app may collect device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic events, and performance information to detect errors and improve reliability.
Analytics
Analytics may be used to understand feature adoption, template usage, export success, onboarding progress, and app performance. Analytics events should not include full invoice contents, customer personal data, or payment details unless specifically disclosed and required.
Advertising
If Invoice Maker includes advertising, ad partners may process advertising identifiers, approximate location, device data, and ad interaction data. If the app does not include ads, replace this paragraph with a no-advertising statement.
Permissions
Invoice Maker may request access to files or photos for importing logos and attachments, camera access for scanning documents, contacts access for selecting customers, and notifications for invoice reminders. The actual permission list must match the app store listing and app behavior.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to create and manage invoices, generate PDFs or exports, sync data where enabled, manage subscriptions, provide support, maintain app security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal requirements.
Legal Basis, Where Applicable
Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, processing may rely on contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or other permitted bases. Confirm the correct basis for each processing activity.
Information Sharing
We do not sell invoice contents or customer lists. Information may be shared with vendors that provide hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payment processing, authentication, email delivery, storage, or customer support, and with authorities where legally required.
Third-Party Services
Invoice Maker may use third-party services such as app stores, payment processors, cloud storage providers, analytics tools, crash reporting services, authentication providers, and email delivery services. Add the names and policy links for actual services used.
Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect account and invoice information. Users should carefully manage exports, shared PDFs, backups, and device access because exported documents may contain personal or business information.
Data Retention
We retain information while needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Invoice and billing records may require different retention periods depending on tax and accounting rules.
Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion in the app, where available, or by emailing privacy@example.com. See Data Deletion for the general deletion workflow.
User Rights
Depending on location, users may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to processing. Users may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
Children's Privacy
Invoice Maker is intended for business or professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International Data Transfers
Information may be processed outside the user's country. Where required, transfer safeguards should be used and described.
Changes to the Policy
We may update this policy periodically. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
